At Hørbar (Norwegian word for 'audible'), we leave behind the formalities of the traditional classical concert and aim to bring the greatest classical music to the great number of people in an informal setting where everyone can feel at ease.
Hørbar will give you a different, renewed concert experience, not because the music itself is different but because much of what is associated with classical concert will be given a much greater diversity, creating room for more dynamic musical exchanges.
Here you can fetch a drink at the adjacent bar and find yourself a couch or an armchair to nestle into to enjoy the concert. Each concert will have three sets of music, each lasting approximately 30 minutes with two short intermissions.
Doors open half an hour before the concert, and concert commences at 7:30 pm lasting approximately until 10 pm. And you are more than welcome to stay behind to mingle and enjoy the company of your friends and our musicians.
If you subscribe to the series, you will be not only be able to save on ticket prices but also enjoy reserved priority seating areas in the Marmor Hall, Sentralen. With additional purchase of tickets for your guests, you can invite them to join you in this specially reserved area.
