Music for Sleepless Nights
Bach’s great work owes its name to the harpsichordist said to have played for a sleepless count – who asked Bach to write variations he could listen to through the night.
From the Goldberg Variations, we have selected the canons – intricate and meditative movements – and paired them with newly composed music by Swedish singer-songwriter Loney Dear. His dreamy, atmospheric sound weaves seamlessly into the hypnotic character of Bach’s variations, creating a concert experience that feels both timeless and otherworldly.
One of the most uplifting, inspiring and healing voices you'll ever hear.
