What do you call a seamless mix between jazz and classical music, interspersed with Italian folk songs backed by accordion, double bass and string instruments?  In the middle of it all, we find Håkon Kornstad moving effortlessly between his tenor sax and mellifluous vocal.

Kornstad, renowned for his virtuosity, har already enjoyed a successful international career as a jazz saxophonist, before deciding to take up opera singing, earning a master's degree from the Norwegian Opera Academy. Since then, he has paved a way to his unique musical world, where his operatic tenor voice is complimented with lustrous tenor sax combining two vastly different musical expressions.
