Throughout 2026, we have worked in close collaboration with Amnesty International Norway. Across a series of concerts, we have brought forward themes drawn from their work for human rights. This evening is dedicated entirely to that collaboration.
Our contribution is the musical one. Inspired by the classical symphony, we shape the concert as a four-part journey.
We begin by outlining a landscape. This is followed by a more intimate section, where we move closer to the human experience. The music then opens outward again, with greater motion and energy. Finally, it turns toward the future—towards action and hope.
With a particular focus on women’s rights, it feels natural to let the voice of Ghawgha Taban and Katarina Barruk carry much of what we wish to express.
